Job summary
Design, develop, facilitate, and evaluate Group-wide leadership and capability development programs to build our employees’ performance and behavioral competency.
Improved capability and demonstrable behaviors; increased employee retention and engagement; increased revenue and EBIT (profit).
General responsibilities
- Collaborate with mid- and senior-level stakeholders to identify key priorities, align learning initiatives with business objectives, and build learning delivery plans.
- Manage a portfolio of learning projects with varying scopes including across Asia-Pacific region, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
- As a master trainer, conduct regular train-the-trainer sessions to ensure consistency and quality of training delivery.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in learning and development, staying abreast of industry trends and best practices.
- Observe, evaluate, and provide feedback on workshop delivery by Associate Trainers to ensure consistency and quality of training delivery.
- Drive the evaluation and continuous improvement of learning interventions, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize impact.
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external partners to enhance the effectiveness and reach of learning initiatives.
Leadership responsibilities
- Build the capability of internal stakeholders (including HR Business Partners, managers, and Associate Trainers) in the areas of learning and development.
- Proactively practice self-learning and development in the areas related to your responsibilities.
Job requirements
- Project management skills on a regional level.
- Adult learning and motivation principles applied to the work environment.
- Stakeholder consultation to define behavioral outcomes and choose appropriate development approaches.
- Training delivery and facilitation (in person and virtually) to middle and senior management – using various delivery methods such as lecture, questions, activities, examples, on-the-job, role play, and reflection sessions.
- Assess learner engagement, learning transfer, and behavior change.
- Instructional design (both classroom and e-learning).
- Cross-cultural communication and interaction.
- Proficiency in office productivity tools, familiarity with e-learning authoring tools (e.g. Elucidat, iSpring, Articulate) and learning management systems.
- Fluent in written and spoken English; proficiency in other Asian language is a benefit.
- Ability to travel in Asia-Pacific and Australia-New Zealand up to approximately 15 weeks a year, maximum of 2 trips a month.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business, or a related discipline an advantage but not required.
- Professional certification is added advantage.
