Role Description
The role of a procurement executive is dynamic and challenging, requiring a blend of strategic thinking, operational efficiency, and strong interpersonal skills. By effectively managing the procurement process, these professionals play a crucial role in ensuring that their organization operates smoothly and cost-effectively.
Job Description:
- Demand planning: Monitor stock levels, forecast demand, and plan reordering accordingly.
- Work alongside other departments such as inventory and finance to facilitate incoming processes.
- Liaise with Finance to ensure all purchasing records and payment records are consistent.
- Investigate irregularities and put processes in place to avoid mistakes from happening a second time.
- Source, liaise, and negotiate pricing with suppliers.
- To carry out administration duties such as preparing Purchase Orders.
- Lead cost-cutting and supply chain improvement projects, tracking key metrics for procurement.
- Other responsibilities as the management deems necessary.
Job requirement
- Must be fluent in English (Mandarin would be an advantage).
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Studies, Supply Chain, or any related field.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a related field.
- Experienced in price negotiation with suppliers and documentation handling.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work under minimum supervision.
