Senior Reinsurance Broking Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Review, negotiate and arrange reinsurance placements (Facultative).
• Review the existing reinsurance programs to evaluate, formulate options and recommend changes.
• Prepare the required renewal information including claim statistics and risk profiles.
• Ensure premiums are collected and paid timely.
• Engage in preparation of annual departmental budgets and other required reports.
• Negotiate to procure the most competitive reinsurance terms.
• Implement the Reinsurance Operating Guidelines that were devised together and agreed upon with Senior Management
• Engage actively in the strategic planning process and execution of strategies.
• Create and nurture strong relationships within the reinsurance community.
• Review reinsurance terms and wordings on placement slips and cover notes.
• Assist in reinsurance claims recovery.
• Any other ad hoc tasks as assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Associateship of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) or other Finance and Insurance related professional qualifications.
• Minimum five (5) years working experience in the reinsurance industry, preferably in Reinsurance or Reinsurance Broking company.
• Able to access to international and local reinsurance markets.
• Good knowledge in the field of Reinsurance and Risk Management.
• Strong networking and relationship capabilities.
• Good negotiation and interpersonal skills.
