  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Role Description

As a Engineering Manager for Data Analytics and Gen AI at Minfy Technologies Sdn Bhd, you will spearhead the development and implementation of cloud-based solutions, focusing on AI, Gen AI, data analytics, and SaaS platforms. You will lead a team of skilled engineers and manage our offshore delivery model to ensure seamless execution of projects. Your role will involve overseeing variety of client projects, guiding clients as a trusted advisor, and driving the growth of our engineering practice.

Role Location: Malaysia

Coverage: Asia Pacific, ASEAN and Australia

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Presales Support: Collaborate with sales and presales teams to define and present cloud solutions, respond to RFPs, and drive new business opportunities.
  • Solution Design & Implementation: Architect and implement cloud solutions leveraging AWS, AI, Gen AI, and data analytics to meet client needs and drive business value.
  • Client Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor for clients, understanding their business challenges and providing strategic guidance to achieve their goals using cloud and AI technologies.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of cloud strategy and roadmap, incorporating emerging trends and technologies in AI and data analytics.
  • Offshore Delivery Model: Manage the offshore delivery teams to ensure alignment with project goals, maintain high quality standards, and manage communication effectively across different time zones.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in engineering, with a strong background in AI, Gen AI, data analytics, and SaaS platforms.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in leading engineering teams and managing complex projects, including offshore delivery models.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of AWS cloud services, Snowflake, Teradata, Databricks and AI/Gen AI technologies, and data management solutions. Must be Hands On and able to perform and present, demonstrate and run Data Analytics workshop and Pilots, POCs included in Client Use Cases.
  • Client Focus: Exceptional ability to engage with clients as a trusted advisor, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Sales & Presales: Experience in supporting sales and presales activities, with a track record of successful solution delivery and business growth.
  • Offshore Management: Experience in managing offshore teams and coordinating with global stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
