- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on cost estimates and project objectives.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in High Tension electrical systems to continually improve cost estimation processes.
- Assist Tender & Contract Manager to select tender equipment & materials specification
- Calculate BQ, electrical load, Lux
- Attend tender interview & meeting
- Site visitation if necessary
- Tender document & catalog preparation
- Get quotation from suppliers & sub-contractors
- Compilation and finalizing of tender
- Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or
- Degree in E & E Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical cost estimation preferably with a focus on High Tension systems.
- Strong understanding of High Tension electrical systems, including transmission lines, substations, and associated equipment.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Professional certification in cost estimation or related field is desirable.
