Deputy Senior Manager, International Business Development & Finance

Job Overview:

Responsible for assisting the Head of International Business Development & Finance for driving the growth and financial success of UEM Sunrise Bhd Australian operations. This role is responsible for assisting the Head of Department (HoD) to strategically managing capital for development, fostering capital partnerships with institutional investors, driving overseas investments, and overseeing financial operations for the company's Australian business. This role is integral to the growth and financial success of the organization and building strategic partnerships to enhance the company's global presence and profitability

Responsibilities:

Market Research & Expansion:

Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities in Australian real estate.

Analyze market trends, economic indicators, and competitor activities to inform business strategies.

Evaluate potential new markets and assess risks and opportunities available

Capital Management & Business Development:

Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive capital management strategy, including the allocation and deployment of funds for optimal returns.

Assess, monitor and analyze financial market trends to identify opportunities for capital investment in the Australian real estate sector.

Assist in identifying and evaluate potential business development opportunities, such as mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, investment funds, and joint ventures, that align with the company's strategic goals.

Assist in negotiations and due diligence processes for potential business ventures.

Assist in identifying and evaluating capital and investment funds to support, boost and accelerate UEM Sunrise Berhad's business plan in Australia.

Partner Relationship Management:

Assist in building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential partners.

Assist in identifying and liaising with potential partners, both domestic and international, interested in making capital investments in Australian projects.

Ensuring smooth collaboration with cross-functional teams to negotiate, structure, and establish strategic partnerships and investment agreements with investors.

Assist in identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships and alliances with local real estate developers, investors, and relevant industry players.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or any related field. An MBA or advanced finance degree is a plus.

Extensive experience in capital management, financial analysis, and investment strategies.

Proven track record in identifying and cultivating capital investment partnerships.

Strong knowledge of the Australian real estate and property development market.

Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Demonstrated ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.

Strong financial acumen and regulatory compliance knowledge.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
