Your Role: Vendor Key Account Manager

As a Vendor Key Account Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in driving growth for our vendor accounts while building strong, positive relationships. You'll ensure our vendor partners thrive within SmartBite's ecosystem by adhering to our standards and delivering top-notch service.

What You’ll Do:

  • Vendor Training and Compliance: Guide vendors in adhering to SmartBite’s processes post-onboarding, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with our terms of service.
  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong partnerships with vendors through regular check-ins, effective communication, and support.
  • Deal Support: Assist in closing high-value transactions by providing strategic support to vendors.
  • Service Quality Assurance: Ensure vendors deliver exceptional service to clients, swiftly resolving any issues and communicating clearly to prevent recurrence.
  • Task Coordination: Set, communicate, and manage timelines and priorities for all tasks agreed upon with vendors.
  • Account Management: Keep account management materials relevant and up-to-date with the latest SmartBite product developments.
  • Market Response: Adapt to market needs, maintaining a competitive vendor offering (in terms of food variety and pricing) to match client demand.
  • Product and Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in vendor user experience and collaborate with the team to implement solutions.
  • Performance Reporting: Monitor and report on vendor performance, ensuring balanced usage and fair distribution of orders across all vendors.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate and enhance commercial terms to benefit both SmartBite and its vendor partners.
  • Results Reporting: Regularly report results and insights to the Country Lead (General Manager).

What You Bring:

  • Education: Completion of at least two (2) years of college education; no specific degree required.
  • Experience: Relevant work experience in sales with a proven track record of exceeding targets.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a knack for building relationships.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Logical thinker with solid analytical abilities.
  • Effective communicator with strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
