  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

The Senior Legal Manager will play a key role in supporting the VP of Group Legal & Commercial in providing expert legal advice to senior management, sales, supply chain management, project management, operations, finance and HR teams covering:

• Governance & compliance matters;

• Developing and/or improving policies and procedures;

• Agreements review prior to bid submission and signing;

• Ensure compliance with Group policies and procedures in terms of legal matters. You should have extensive previous experience in:

Requirements

1. Governance & Compliance :

• Monitor and interpret relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure organizational compliance.

• Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and controls.

• Conduct regular compliance assessments and audits to identify and address potential risks.

• Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve compliance issues.

• Liaise with external regulators and legal counsels as needed.

• Support the development and maintenance of governance frameworks, including policies, procedures, and best practices.

• Assist in the preparation of reports for senior management and committee meetings on governance and compliance matters.

• Facilitate training and awareness programs on governance and compliance topics for employees.

Legal:

• Lead all activities related to contractual, legal, commercial and insurance issues related to contracts with clients and purchase order with suppliers including the drafting of contracts.

• Meeting with clients and suppliers to negotiate contracts.

• Review the pre-award tender documents, identify and mitigate commercial and legal risk of the contract, preparing and presenting documents for tenders.

• Assess the Company’s obligations and liabilities, including geopolitical risks and sanction assessment, insurance requirements, bank guarantee / corporate guarantee wordings, etc.

• Contract formulation, review and preparation for signature.

• Handle contractual, legal, commercial and insurance issues (including resolving disputes) related to contracts with clients, purchase orders with suppliers and joint venture partners.

• Establishment of joint venture, consortium or other partnering agreements
