Primary Responsibilities
• To book shipments in various modes of transports, primarily sea and air
• Monitoring of shipments and maintaining status and visibility of shipments
• Correct and timely handling and review of all transport relevant documents
• Serve as first point of contact for our customers
• Liaise with our appointed service partners
• Attend to and solve incident and complain issues timely and efficiently
• Fast replies to enquiries and requests
• Be a role model for entire CS/Operations team and valued team member
• Support reviews of standard operating procedures (SOP)
• Co-operate with other departments locally and within the network.
• To support on any other related tasks assigned from time to time
Requirements
• 3 years of professional experience in international transport logistics
• Proven track record of handling and organizing shipments in one or more of the following mode of transports: Sea, Air, Truck, Rail or/and Express
• Solid understanding of shipping terms, documentation and terminology
• SPM/Diploma in Transport/Logistics or Business Administration, International Business
• Effective written and oral communication skills in English, further languages like Mandarin very welcome
• Well-organized with IT-based day-to-day operations
• Proficiency in common applications e.g. Microsoft Office, SAP experience is a plus
• Willing to take ownership and responsibilities as problem solver
