Fintonia Group is a Singapore and Dubai licensed asset manager, with a growing presence in Kuala Lumpur, combining a strong background in traditional finance with disruptive technology.

Fintonia Group has launched the first Bitcoin tracker fund managed by a Monetary Authority of Singapore licensed fund manager, and has also obtained a provisional license from the Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority.
We are looking for a driven and experienced Operations Associate to join our team based in Kuala Lumpur. This is a hands-on role that will suit someone keen to be in an entrepreneurial environment, be part of the rapidly growing digital asset market, and make a significant impact. Key Responsibilities
Onboarding:
- Oversee the onboarding process for new counterparties and banks, ensuring a smooth and compliant integration into our system.
- Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all documentation and due diligence requirements are met.
- Develop and maintain onboarding materials and procedural documents.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all counterparties and banks interactions and transactions.
- Ensure timely follow-ups and renewals of contracts, agreements, and any other necessary documentation.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on channel activities and performance metrics.
Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all counterparties and banks related inquiries and issues.
- Regularly review and assess counterparties and banks performance, ensuring alignment with our business goals and standards.
- Facilitate communications and negotiations between counterparties and banks and internal teams.
Operations Projects and Initiatives:
- Project Management leadership and support for various business initiatives - including new systems implementation, process re-engineering, new product or business capability development
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of existing operational processes, identifying areas for improvement, and designing and implementing changes to processes.
- Implement and oversee new operational strategies to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure operational coherence and streamlined workflows.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments (eg. investments, client solutions, finance) to ensure a cohesive approach to channel management.
- Act as a liaison between the company and external partners to resolve issues and align on objectives.
Qualifications and Experience
To be a successful applicant, you are likely to meet the following criteria:
- At least 3-5 years experience in A) market operations or fund investment operations performing trade support, or middle office or product settlement operations roles with a fund manager, financial markets institution or wealth manager or B) fund admin experience working on position / cash reconciliation or P&L / valuation experience directly supporting a fund manager or hedge fund.
- Direct experience interacting with trading counterparties pre-confirmations or trade investigations for financial markets products - e.g. equities, derivatives, fixed income, foreign exchange
- Experience with onboarding corporate entities or other financial institutions for investment account opening highly beneficial
- Comfortable to work in a fast-paced fintech environment. This includes flexibility and responsiveness to adapt to changing priorities and tasks while maintaining high productivity levels.
- Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of using a wide range of technology tools and software
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task, work independently but collaboratively as a team player
- Knowledge and experience in digital assets would be a plus.
- Fluency in Mandarin will be well regarded
