Our client is a multinational organisation with a significant presence in Malaysia. With an easily-accessible office in Bangsar South, this is your opportunity to work for a globally recognised leader of its industry with a shared services hub in Asia. This is a 1-year contract role with possibility for extension or conversion to perm. Due to the urgency, those with less than 1 month notice will be greatly considered.
Job Description
You will assume some leadership responsibilities including liaising with APAC representatives/Team Leaders, represent the Shared Services team, manage dashboard and deadlines. You are expected to assist in data enrichment activities, maintain data quality, and update SOP for process changes.
- Manage and update material master data records on time, following service level agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure data entries are accurate, complete, and meet established standards.
- Perform data checks and reconciliations to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
- Analyse and report on data issues, suggesting improvements for better efficiency and quality.
- Work with different teams to fix data problems and discrepancies.
- Support data enrichment projects and participate in ongoing improvement initiatives.
- Create and update process documentation to reflect any changes in operations.
- Generate and pull reports to ensure all SKU created meets data compliance/integrity.
- Minimum of 4 - 6 years of experience managing a client-service oriented function with experience in Master Data management/ Supply chain/Purchasing experience - Material MDM will be given priority.
- Sound experience in JDE & Salesforce.
- Previous experience in data structures or data management/administration.
- Shared Service Centre experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate in English and collaborate with international stakeholders.
- Resilient and a fast-learner with continuous improvement mindset.

- Work arrangement: 100% on-site for the first 2 months then hybrid (depending on performance)
