- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with legal regulations and company standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and regular inspections of workplaces to ensure compliance with safety laws.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and hazardous conditions and prepare reports for corrective actions.
- Provide training and educational programs to employees regarding safety protocols, emergency procedures, and safe work practices.
- Ensure proper maintenance and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with management to develop health and safety strategies and objectives.
- Liaise with local authorities (e.g., DOSH) to ensure compliance with occupational safety and health regulations.
- Lead safety audits and workplace inspections, preparing and submitting reports and recommendations.
- Promote a safety-first culture within the organization to reduce workplace accidents and injuries.
- Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), Environmental Health, or related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing or construction sector.
- Certified Safety and Health Officer (SHO) by DOSH (Department of Occupational Safety and Health) is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of local and international safety regulations and standards.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office and safety management software.
- Ability to perform risk assessments and enforce preventative measures.

Salary Range
- Junior Level: RM2,500 – RM4,000 per month
- Mid-Level: RM4,000 – RM6,000 per month
- Senior Level: RM6,000 – RM8,500 per month
- Mid-Level: RM4,000 – RM6,000 per month
- Junior Level: RM2,500 – RM4,000 per month
