  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with legal regulations and company standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and regular inspections of workplaces to ensure compliance with safety laws.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and hazardous conditions and prepare reports for corrective actions.
  • Provide training and educational programs to employees regarding safety protocols, emergency procedures, and safe work practices.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Collaborate with management to develop health and safety strategies and objectives.
  • Liaise with local authorities (e.g., DOSH) to ensure compliance with occupational safety and health regulations.
  • Lead safety audits and workplace inspections, preparing and submitting reports and recommendations.
  • Promote a safety-first culture within the organization to reduce workplace accidents and injuries.
  • Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), Environmental Health, or related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing or construction sector.
  • Certified Safety and Health Officer (SHO) by DOSH (Department of Occupational Safety and Health) is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of local and international safety regulations and standards.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office and safety management software.
  • Ability to perform risk assessments and enforce preventative measures.

    Salary Range

    • Junior Level: RM2,500 – RM4,000 per month
    • Mid-Level: RM4,000 – RM6,000 per month
    • Senior Level: RM6,000 – RM8,500 per month
