  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Core Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of your work and our systems as a whole.
  • Design and execute scalable, low-latency, highly available, and highly-performant applications.
  • Develop code that is reusable, efficient, testable, maintainable, and extensible.
  • Work with the Product and Quantitative teams to understand requirements and translate them into high-quality code.
  • Contribute during all phases of project lifecycle.
  • Work as a team member in an Agile environment.

Required Qualifications

  • College degree in computer science or a related discipline, or an equivalent level of technical knowledge required.
  • Solid 3+ years’ experience in Python programming.
  • Strong skills in both structural and OO programming, concepts, data structures, patterns, templates, concurrent (async/multithreaded/multiprocessor) programming.
  • Experience in using Amazon Web Services SDK – Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, Kinesis - in a Python environment.
  • Familiarity with Pandas and NumPy.
  • Good knowledge of databases, SQL, and exposure to NoSQL technologies.
  • Experience with GIT.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage your time and tasks within a highly distributed development team without
  • constant supervision.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment using SCRUM.

Preferred Skills / Experience

  • Experience working in a fast-paced start-up environment.
  • Experience developing in C++, Java.
  • Familiarity with LLM-powered systems
  • Experience working in a financial trading, research, or asset management environment and the understanding of the principles of real-time data and historical analysis within those Environments
  • Familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFE).
