Position Title: Senior HR Manager/Associate Director, HR
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior HR Manager/Associate HR Director to join our Malaysia team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in shaping the company’s talent strategies, managing day to day HR operations, and fostering an inclusive, high performance culture.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic HR Leadership:
• Develop and implement HR strategies in alignment with business objectives, focusing on talent acquisition, retention, performance management, and organizational development.
• Partner with senior leadership to drive workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
• Foster an inclusive and engaging work environment that supports diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
2. Talent Management:
• Lead recruitment efforts for high-impact roles, working closely with hiring managers to ensure alignment with company goals and culture.
• Design and oversee onboarding programs to ensure new hires are integrated effectively.
• Manage performance review processes, including goal setting, continuous feedback, and performance improvement strategies.
3. Employees Relations and Engagement:
• Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR-related matters, including conflict resolution, policy interpretation, and employee development.
• Lead initiatives to promote employee engagement, well-being, and professional growth.
• Address employee grievances and manage investigations in a fair and consistent manner.
4. HR Operations and Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and best practices.
• Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and employee records management in collaboration with the HR operations team.
• Implement and monitor HR metrics and KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations, including timely reporting to relevant authorities.
• Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports to inform decision-making and strategy.
• Work very closely with the regional HR team to ensure compliance with HR cycle (performance, goals, compensation reviews…)
5. Learning and Development:
• Lead the development and execution of training programs aimed at enhancing employee skills and leadership capabilities.
• Support leadership development efforts by identifying high-potential employees and creating tailored career paths.
6. Compensation and Benefits:
• Collaborate with leadership on compensation strategies, ensuring competitive salary structures that attract and retain top talent.
• Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, ensuring they meet the needs of a diverse workforce.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role, ideally in an advertising, marketing, or creative industry.
• Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and industry trends.
• Proven experience in talent management, employee relations, and organizational development. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead HR initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
