We are looking for a results-driven Product Manager/Owner with a strong management background to define the product vision, lead strategy, and drive the go-to-market plans for our platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Malaysian market and culture, and must be proficient in the Malaysian language to effectively engage with customers and stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Product Vision & Strategy: Develop and communicate a compelling product vision that aligns with company objectives. Create a strategic roadmap to guide product development and enhancements.
  • Market Understanding: Conduct thorough market research to identify customer needs, pain points, and opportunities. Understand the competitive landscape and adapt the product to suit the Malaysian market.
  • Go-To-Market Execution: Plan and execute go-to-market strategies that effectively position the platform for success in both B2B and B2C segments. Define clear value propositions, messaging, and launch plans.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, operations, and customer support, to ensure the product meets market demands and delivers a superior user experience.
  • Product Definition & Requirements: Translate market insights into detailed product requirements. Prioritize features and enhancements based on impact, customer feedback, and business goals.
  • Performance Measurement: Monitor product performance using analytics and customer feedback. Continuously refine and improve the product to meet evolving market needs.
  • Cultural Relevance: Utilize your knowledge of Malaysian culture and consumer behavior to create products that resonate locally, ensuring a culturally sensitive and appealing service offering.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner, preferably with platforms similar to Urban Company or in the service/technology industry.
  • Strong management background with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive product strategy.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Malaysian market, including cultural nuances and consumer behavior.
  • Fluent in the Malaysian language, with strong communication skills to engage effectively with local stakeholders and customers.
  • Experience in defining and executing go-to-market strategies, especially for platforms that cater to both B2B and B2C customers.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Passionate about creating products that solve real problems and enhance customer experiences.
