As the Head of Marketing for Southeast Asia, you will be responsible for driving marketing strategy and growth across the region, with a specific focus on key markets such as Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand. You will lead the development and execution of creative marketing campaigns and business development strategies that align with brand objectives and resonate with the local audience. What you'll be doing:

  • Develop and execute marketing and business development strategies to drive growth and increase market share in key Southeast Asian markets.
  • Lead and oversee the end-to-end creative process, from concept to execution, ensuring campaigns are culturally relevant and aligned with brand objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (product, sales, and engineering teams) to ensure cohesive marketing efforts that support overall business goals.
  • Manage marketing budgets and timelines to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media outlets, influencers, KOLs, and industry associations to promote the brand and drive user acquisition.
  • Conduct market research to gather insights on local trends, competitive landscapes, and customer behavior, applying these insights to optimize marketing strategies.
  • Oversee content creation and experience development that resonate with the Southeast Asia market, ensuring brand consistency across channels.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, creative practices, and digital marketing innovations, applying best practices to enhance brand presence in the region.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote brand awareness and thought leadership.

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • At least 7 years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record of driving growth and managing teams in the Southeast Asia market.
  • Experience in both creative and business development aspects of marketing, with the ability to lead creative initiatives and drive user acquisition strategies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience inspiring and motivating cross-functional teams in a multicultural environment.
  • Deep understanding of the Southeast Asia market, including key cultural nuances and consumer behaviors.
  • Proven experience managing budgets and delivering high-quality projects on time.
  • Extensive network of contacts within media, influencers, and industry associations across Southeast Asia.
  • Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English and at least one local language (Malay, Chinese, or other Southeast Asian languages preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and use insights to optimize marketing efforts.
  • Willingness to travel within the Southeast Asian region as required.
