Position Title: Sales Applications & Systems Intern

Location: Menara Maxis, Kuala Lumpur

Duration: 3 Months

Role Overview: The Sales Applications & Systems Intern will play a critical role in supporting the implementation of new requirements in alignment with the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) New Prepaid Guidelines. This position involves working closely with the Apps team to enhance the HERO sales app and incorporate innovative solutions using AI and machine learning to streamline the prepaid registration review process. The intern will gain hands-on experience in mobile app development, AI integration, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Sales App Enhancement:

• Collaborate with the Apps team to review and enhance the current HERO sales app to meet the MCMC New Prepaid Guidelines.
• Participate in fieldwork, including visits to dealers to observe and understand sales processes for proper implementation.
  
  

Multi-Factor Authentication

• Assist in introducing multi-factor authentication features to HERO, utilizing MyKad readers, biometric readers, and ePassports.
• Design and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Pilot Production Verification (PPV) for HERO’s User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX).
  
  

AI & Machine Learning Implementation

• Contribute to the automation of the prepaid registration review process using AI/machine learning, simplifying manual tasks and reducing the need for additional human resources.
• Work on developing and implementing AI-driven solutions to enhance the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the prepaid review process.
  
  

Compliance And Testing

• Ensure all changes to the HERO sales app comply with the MCMC New Prepaid Guidelines.
• Participate in testing and validating app functionalities to ensure the changes are working as expected.
  
  

Required Skills/Experience

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Knowledge of mobile app design and development processes.
• Basic understanding of AI and machine learning applications, particularly for image detection and process automation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
