Key Responsibilities:

Record to Report (RTR):

  • Manage and perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliation of accounts.
  • Ensure month-end and year-end closing processes are completed accurately and timely.
  • Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements) and management reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with local GAAP/IFRS and internal controls.
  • Support audit processes, providing necessary documentation and explanations.

    Procure to Pay (PTP):

    • Oversee the accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment runs, and vendor management.
    • Ensure timely payments to suppliers and resolve payment discrepancies.
    • Manage the purchase order (PO) process and ensure alignment with procurement policies.
    • Review and approve supplier reconciliations and aging reports.
    • Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to streamline PTP processes.

      Order to Cash (OTC):

      • Manage the accounts receivable process, including billing, cash application, and collections.
      • Ensure timely collection of payments from customers, resolving any payment issues.
      • Review and maintain aging reports, and monitor credit limits for customers.
      • Handle dispute resolution with customers regarding invoices and payments.
      • Support cash flow management by providing accurate OTC data and projections.

        Leadership & Collaboration (Manager Level):

        • Lead and mentor a team of junior accountants or clerks, providing guidance and performance feedback.
        • Drive process improvements in RTR, PTP, and OTC areas to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
        • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., procurement, sales, operations) to ensure smooth financial operations.
        • Ensure SOX compliance and maintain strong internal controls.
        • Represent the accounting function in key business meetings and strategy sessions.

          Requirements:

          For Executive Level:

          • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
          • 2-5 years of relevant experience in RTR, PTP, and OTC processes.
          • Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written).
          • Strong understanding of local GAAP and IFRS.
          • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
          • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
          • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

            For Manager Level:

            • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree or CPA/ACCA certification preferred).
            • 5-10 years of experience with a focus on RTR, PTP, and OTC, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
            • Strong proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written).
            • Extensive knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
            • Proven ability to lead teams and drive process improvements.
            • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
            • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
