Waitress/Server

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:
• Greet and seat customers promptly.
• Provide the menu and information about specials, making suggestions when appropriate.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously.
• Ensure customer satisfaction, addressing any issues or requests promptly.
• Order Management:
• Input orders into the POS system accurately.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and correct preparation of orders.
• Deliver orders to the tables, checking for accuracy.
• Prepare and serve drinks as required (coffee, tea, etc.).
• Cash Handling:
• Process customer payments, handle cash and card transactions.
• Provide accurate change and receipts.
• Dining Area Maintenance:
• Clean and set tables promptly for new guests.
• Ensure cleanliness of the dining area, including floors, tables, and chairs.
• Restock table supplies, such as napkins, utensils, and condiments.
• Adherence to Standards:
• Follow the café’s SOPs, hygiene standards, and safety regulations.
• Be knowledgeable about the café’s menu, ingredients, and allergens.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure efficient service.
• Communicate customer feedback or issues to the supervisor.
• Dishwashing (Rotational Duty):
• Assist with dishwashing duties on a rotational basis as assigned.
• Ensure glasses and plate clean.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a waiter or similar role in the F&B industry is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for cash handling.
• Friendly, customer-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Team player with a positive attitude.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
