Demand and supply planning

- Establish a monthly demand plan using qualitative and statistical methods with close collaboration with the Sales team and key customers and review forecast accuracy with the aim of continuous improvement.

- Propose supply plan with highlight on demand and supply exceptions especially on inventory shortages / excesses, market anticipations as well as action plan required for optimized demand and supply plan.

- Review and adjust the total demand forecast to ensure an up to date forecast in the weekly process for the release to supply planning.

- Improving picking and packing efficiency for order processing.

- Ensuring daily order processing activities are within service level agreements.

- Capacity planning in line with weekly volume projection and schedule.

- Prioritization of customer orders based on FIFO to maximize customer satisfaction.

- Responsible for managing the projection, utilization and storage of packaging materials.

Monitoring, analyzing data and suggesting improvements

- Monitor and analyze data e.g. customer forecast and demand trend, past purchase history, factory and outsourced supplier’s lead time, performance records to forecast supply & demand, and identify improvement opportunities in entire supply chain operations, especially in term of delivery performance, inventory management, operation and cost effectiveness.

- Continuous effort to adopt new supply chain techniques and technologies to add value to company’s supply chain management & digitalization.

- Integrate innovations into the demand plan based on the monthly S&OP Marketing meeting.

- Close follow ups on actuals versus forecast after launch to update forecast with latest expectations.

- Provide warehouse management with the end of day/shift handover information.

- Work closely with management by identifying issues and proposing solutions within a reasonable time frame.

- Carry out regular spot checks to ensure the quality of processes in place and provide clear and visible feedback on findings.

- Continuous process improvement driven by suggestions on systems improvements.

- Liaise with appropriate departments (marketing team, inventory team etc) on marketing campaigns and products availability.

- Ensure 100% QC check and enforce proper packaging guidelines on all items.

- Continuously find innovative ways to reduce cost across all internal operations department by increasing productivity as well as reducing loss due to theft and damages of items.

- Improve efficient usage of work tools and material handling.

Inventory management

- Monitor and review inventory replenishment strategies based on stocking plan, anticipated demand, and supplier’s lead time variability with continuous efforts to drive robust inventory levels to meet targeted inventory turn.

Reporting

- Develop a variety of past, present & future reports regarding inventory, sales, and other KPIs.

- Prepare regular production reports and monitor variances in the production volumes and forecasts.

- Maintain product and production data master lists to support production planning and manufacturing.

- Performance management including appraisals and team coaching.

- All other tasks and projects as deemed necessary to ensure optimal fulfillment of orders as reasonably required by the Company.
