Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Warehouse Support:
  • Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing inventory in the warehouse.
  • Support order fulfillment and shipment preparation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse space.
  • Develop & implement warehouse operations SOPs
  • Define & implement warehouse inventory management strategy, including shelf life management.
  • Leading regular inventory cycle & stock count.
  • Responsible for material disposals according to SOP and government regulations.

2. Logistics Coordination:

  • Assist in coordinating inbound and outbound logistics activities.
  • Communicate with transportation providers and carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
  • Track shipments and update relevant stakeholders on status and delays.
  • Assist in resolving logistics-related issues and optimizing transportation routes.

3. MRP Planning Assistance:

  • Support the Manager in maintaining and updating the materials requirement planning (MRP) file.
  • Assist in gathering data for demand forecasting and production planning.
  • Help monitor inventory levels and reorder points to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address MRP-related issues and discrepancies.
  • Any other ad-hoc projects assigned by immediate reporting.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Candidate should possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in similar capacity
  • Prior experience from a related industry (such as Manufacturing or FMCG) will be advantageous.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues across departments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the role and the company.

Specific Requirements

  • Effectively bilingual (English, Mandarin) for effective correspondence with mandarin-speaking internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, possess strategic thinking, ability to make effective decision, co-ordinates effectively with stakeholders (local & overseas)
  • Able to work under pressure and perform multiple tasks accurately
  • Outgoing and possess “Can Do” attitude with good inter-personal skills.
