Role Overview & Primary Accountabilities:

  • Provide support in bank clearing and reconciliation

  • Provide support to the preparation, review, and analysis of consolidated financial and management reporting to ensure accurate and timely reporting of results to meet management, shareholder, local, and U.S. accounting requirements

  • Maintain assigned systems, processes, or process components in good working order and identify and recommend system improvements to ensure timely, relevant, and accurate Financial Accounting Information. This includes, but is not limited to, responsibility for SAP R3 bank clearing and reconciliation process, standing and recurring journal entries

  • Ensure the integrity of monthly financial statements is maintained by completing detailed account reconciliations, and review of journal entry logs, to ensure the financial records accurately reflect the current status of transactions and events

  • Identify and make recommendations that optimize business processes and improve financial and internal controls and other business practices

Continuous Improvement:

  • Support the development of a culture of continuous improvement by supporting LEAN concepts, tools, and methodologies to eliminate waste in all its form.

  • Work collaboratively with other team members to identify opportunities to streamline and improve department efficiency and participate in the implementation of those opportunities.

    Essential Requirements:

    • Degree in Finance or Accounting, professional Accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, etc.) or pursuing a professional qualification with 1-2 years of financial accounting exposure in Corporate Business

    • Practical knowledge of U.S. accounting requirements

    • Practical experience in Excel

    • Good command of oral & written English & Korean

    Desirable Requirements:

    • As above plus worked in a Multi-National Company

    • Knowledge of computer systems and applications used by Kimberly-Clark (SAP R3)

    • Basic to intermediate level Excel knowledge
