8tree – the global leader in AR-enabled 3D precision surface inspection tools – is hiring for the role of Marketing Coordinator at our Customer Support Office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Strong work ethic and uncompromising integrity are non-negotiable pre-requisites.

8tree’s application-specific tools are completely self-contained hardware + software systems that work as easily as taking a photo. Our customers include the world’s leading aerospace, aviation and wind-turbine blade companies. Our tools empower operators with enhanced quality and reliability, thereby improving safety and efficiency in their industrial workflows.
Tasks
• International tradeshow planning & coordination. Tentatively participate in these events to showcase 8tree’s products.
• Social Media Management. Including content creation, scheduling, and community management.
• You work directly with the Marketing Manager on day-to-day tasks.
• Coordinate marketing activities with partners.
• Responsible for new projects and initiatives to spread the word about 8tree’s products.
Requirements
• Professional command of the English language (verbal & written) for business communication and creative writing. Proven by IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge certificate, OR working/studying experience in English speaking country.
• 2+ years experience as Marketing Coordinator/Executive, OR project management experience in the aviation/aerospace industry.
• Strong project management skills.
• Motivation to ‘deep dive’ into niche applications like surface inspection in aviation and other industries.
• Self-starter with demonstrated initiative to learn, identify challenges and seek solutions
