Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager with expertise in Next.js and Azure to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead a talented team of developers in designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable web applications using Next.js on Azure cloud infrastructure. You will play a critical role in driving technical excellence, ensuring the reliability and performance of our fintech products, and contributing to the overall success of our company.

Job Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership: Provide strong technical leadership and guidance to a team of developers working on Next.js projects. Mentor and coach team members, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Azure Cloud Infrastructure: Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available solutions using Azure services such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL Database, and Azure DevOps.
  • Project Management: Manage the end-to-end delivery of Next.js projects on Azure, including planning, estimation, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure timely delivery.
  • Architecture and Design: Architect scalable and maintainable solutions using Next.js and Azure, adhering to industry best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS).
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee robust testing strategies to ensure the reliability, stability, and performance of Next.js applications on Azure. Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and performance tuning to identify and resolve issues proactively.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment. Work closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize tasks, resolve technical challenges, and promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges in projects and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Proactively address technical debt and scalability issues in existing systems.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and deployment procedures. Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and security standards.
  • Client and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their business needs, provide technical insights, and deliver solutions that meet or exceed expectations. Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders about technical concepts and project status.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience 5 years as a Technical Manager, Lead Developer, or similar role, with a strong background in web development using Next.js and Azure.
  • Extensive knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and related frontend technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL Database, and Azure DevOps.
  • Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members towards achieving technical and business objectives.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
  • Experience in the fintech industry or with financial applications is a strong plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
