Job Description (JD)
- Conduct initiatives related to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and product rollout into production.
- Testing specialists work with project managers, UAT professionals, and users to design and implement appropriate scripts/plans/reports for an application testing strategy/approach.
- Conduct a variety of tests and analyses to ensure that systems meet or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to understand business and functional requirements to develop test plans, test cases, and scripts.
- Identify defects and recommend appropriate course of action; perform root cause analyses.
- Retest after fixes are made to ensure problems are resolved.
- Document, evaluate, and research test results for future replication.
- Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to enhance testing strategies.
- Basic understanding of how own area integrates within IT/vendor testing to achieve objectives and convey test results.
- Resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and guided by precedents.
- Requires sound and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills to exchange complex information.
- Maintain test data across different test environments.
- Perform other duties and functions as assigned.
Key Skills / Knowledge:
- At least 2 years of working experience in software quality assurance/software testing/Test Management.
- Preferably with Transaction Banking and cash management knowledge.
- Hands-on experience in the banking industry and project management preferred.
- Experience in managing and executing UAT for BAU patches/enhancements/projects.
- Detail-oriented, highly analytical, willing to learn, and committed.
- Able to highlight and escalate issues that impact testing progress.
- Understands interdependencies and effects on critical paths.
- Self-starter, “can-do” attitude, customer-centric mindset, highly adaptable, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work.
