  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Position Summary:

Design and implement product sustainability programs and lead execution of product safety improvement initiatives to maximise product sustainability benefits and minimize their impact to human health and the environment.

Job Description :

  • Customer Engagement and Product Declaration: Lead customer engagement and manage product declaration issuance concerning PETRONAS Chemicals Group (PCG) product sustainability matters.
  • Product Design and Sustainability: Facilitate the safe and sustainable design of new products in accordance with international product life-cycle design criteria and best practices.
  • Product Risk Assessment and Communication: Execute planned product risk assessment programs and track the implementation of identified mitigations & develop accurate and transparent product hazard communication documents, such as Safety Data Sheets and Labels.
  • Sustainability Initiatives: Lead the implementation of initiatives to enhance the sustainability of PCG's product portfolio, including conducting product carbon footprint Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) studies.
  • Third-Party Contractor Assessment: Oversee the implementation of Third-Party Contractor and Warehouse assessments to enhance the sustainability of PCG’s third-party contractor portfolio.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Environment, or related disciplines.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of work experience in the fields of Life Cycle Assessment, Product Stewardship, Sustainability, Product Safety & Regulation, Product Development or Application.
  • Good understanding of Product Stewardship principles.
  • Extensive work experience with Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), including conducting product sustainability initiatives such as LCA studies.
