- Mechanical Maintenance & Repair:
- Perform regular maintenance and repair work on mechanical systems, including molding machines and ancillary equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to ensure minimal disruption to production processes.
- Apply your knowledge of molding processes to maintain and optimize equipment used in the production of medical-grade plastic products.
- Ensure that all mechanical systems are calibrated and maintained to meet the rigorous standards required for medical plastics manufacturing.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all critical mechanical equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including parts replacement and system modifications.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the reliability and efficiency of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Work closely with the engineering and production teams to identify areas for improvement in equipment performance.
- Ensure that all mechanical maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Follow industry standards and best practices, particularly in the maintenance of equipment used in medical plastics production.
- Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and tools required for mechanical maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure the timely availability of high-quality parts and components.
- Provide technical support and guidance to production operators on the proper use and maintenance of mechanical systems.
- Assist in the installation, setup, and commissioning of new mechanical equipment.
- Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mechanic Technician, with a strong background in molding within the plastic manufacturing industry.
- Expertise in medical plastics is a significant advantage.
- Proficient in the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems, particularly those used in molding processes.
- Fluent in Mandarin, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking colleagues and stakeholders.
