  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.

  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Video Editor to help us bring our vision to life and communicate our brand's story effectively.

The Video Editor will play a critical role in producing high-quality video content that showcases our range of kid's tech products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of visual storytelling, with an ability to engage and captivate our young audience, while also appealing to the parents and educators who trust in our brand.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with our marketing and product teams to conceptualize, storyboard, and create video content tailored for our target audience.
  • Edit video footage to produce clear, engaging, and dynamic videos for various platforms (website, social media, advertisements, etc.).
  • Produce platform-specific content such as Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, ensuring they are optimized, engaging, and in line with platform trends.
  • Incorporate graphics, animations, sound effects, and music to enhance video quality and engagement.
  • Ensure brand consistency and alignment across all video content.
  • Provide feedback and suggest improvements for video shoots.
  • Maintain an organized library of video assets, raw footage, and finalized projects.
  • Stay updated with the latest video editing techniques, software, and best practices, especially in the children's tech and entertainment domain.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for content creation.
  • Other ad-hoc task assigned by superiors.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Possess at least Diploma in Film, Media, Communications, or related field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • At least 1 year of professional video editing experience, preferably with children-focused content or products.
  • Proficiency in video editing software.
  • Strong storytelling skills with attention to detail and creative flair.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with the kid's tech space or a willingness to learn.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to speak and write fluently in English and Mandarin.
  • Willing to relocate to Johor Bahru.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
