Forklift Operator

FORKLIFT OPERATOR – JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, and stack products and materials. This role requires adherence to safety protocols, efficient operation, and excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Forklift: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to transport materials and products
• within the warehouse or production facility.
• Load and Unload: Load and unload goods from delivery trucks and storage areas. Ensure
• items are handled properly to prevent damage.
• Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels by moving products
• to designated storage areas and conducting regular checks.
• Quality Control: Inspect materials and products for defects and report any issues to
• supervisors.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working
• environment. Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
• Documentation: Complete required paperwork for material handling activities, including
• delivery logs and inspection reports.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks and maintenance on forklifts and other
• equipment to ensure proper functioning.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent: Basic education required.
• Forklift Certification: Valid forklift operator certification preferred or the ability to obtain certification upon hiring.
• CIDB – certification & card.
• Experience: Previous experience operating forklifts or material handling equipment is
• advantageous.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy items and operate machinery for extended periods.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling products and
• completing paperwork.
• Communication Skills: Good communication skills to interact with team members and
• supervisors effectively.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and address issues related to material handling and equipment operation.

Working Conditions:

• Environment: Exposure to noise and varying temperatures.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

• Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Shah Alam: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
