Key Purpose

We are seeking an Associate Director to join our Debt Markets Department. In this position, you will play a crucial role in delivering tailored advice and structuring solutions, including bridge financing, bank guarantees, syndicated loans, corporate bonds, and debt restructuring. Your primary responsibilities will involve assisting the Team Lead/Director in identifying and designing innovative investment banking solutions, coordinating Associates/Senior Associates, and overseeing deal execution.

Key Accountabilities

You will assist the Team Lead/Director in managing Associates/Senior Associates by:

  • Prepare information requisition lists, conduct credit risk assessments, and perform KYC and conflict-of-interest checks.
  • Drafting deal clearance memoranda, credit proposals, and regulatory submission documents.
  • Reviewing legal documents and managing financing disbursements or sukuk/bond issuances.
  • Liaise with the risk team on credit proposals and present findings to the credit committee.
  • Supporting the review and preparation of pitch proposals, mandates, and financial models to ensure compliance.
  • Maintaining strong client relationships through regular communication and business development.
  • Monitor portfolio conditions and organize documentation and records.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 6 to 10 years of experience in Investment Banking, Debt Capital Markets, Structured Finance, Project Finance, Corporate Banking, Islamic Debt Capital Markets, loan syndication, Credit Rating, or a related area.
  • Candidates with a Capital Markets and Services Representative's License (CMSRL) from the Securities Commission will be at an advantage.
