Let's Talk About the Role:
- Ensure overall safety and management of equipment, including validation, maintenance, calibration, risk management, and business continuity.
- Optimize equipment performance and efficiency (OEE, MTBF).
- Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory requirements, and other business systems (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality).
- Execute Business Excellence activities and implement new technologies.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert, providing technical execution and collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors to solve complex problems.
- Define criteria for New Equipment Introduction and make recommendations to stakeholders.
- Provide expertise and guidance to Maintenance Technicians for troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Partner with stakeholders to manage and plan machine spares inventory systems.
- Create, document, and implement procedures and guidelines to ensure sustainable excellence (e.g., Plant Manual).
- Collaborate with Safety, Quality, Facilities, and Production teams to meet their needs.
- Work collaboratively to achieve business objectives.
- Be open to feedback and seek improvement opportunities.
- Actively participate in the team, demonstrating honesty, respect, and support for others.
- Minimum of a degree in engineering or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Experience with Six Sigma and Lean Six Sigma.
- Ability to evaluate and solve design and engineering problems with minimal guidance.
- Clear and concise communication skills to summarize complex issues effectively.
- Strong experience in preventative or predictive maintenance, with the ability to predict and prevent machine breakdowns.
- Experience with Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
