Safety Compliance: Ensure that all facilities comply with safety regulations, including fire codes, OSHA standards, and other relevant guidelines. Vendor Coordination: Work with external vendors and contractors to arrange repairs and services for specialized systems, including negotiating contracts and overseeing their work. Inventory Management: Manage and maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies needed for facility maintenance and repairs. Energy Efficiency: Monitor and implement energy-saving strategies to improve the efficiency of facility operations. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and inspections, including keeping logs of preventive maintenance tasks. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED (required). Certification in facilities management or a related field (preferred). Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, or general building maintenance. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards. Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions (e.g., climbing ladders, working in confined spaces).
