AMEA Operations Manager

What this job involves:

Serving on the front lines of customer service

Typically, responsible for overseeing and managing operations across the AMEA region.

Plans and coordinates operational activities to meet JLL / BT goals and objectives.

Responsible for managing the team, operational governance, and oversight.
Overall accountability for all activities - mainly focusing on managing SLAs, risk assurance, compliance, weekly operations meetings, MMR / QBR / HBR reporting, process & procedures, workflows, and ensuring quality of service.
Ensures alignment with JLL/BT objectives and policies.
Manages high-level operational governance, risk assurance, and compliance.

Requires leadership and decision-making skills.

Being at the heart of the business

Monitor front desk procedures and workflows, making adjustments as needed to improve efficiency and customer service.
Ensure that the front desk is manned at all times, organizing backfill or backup in case of absence and ensuring compliance with BT security requirements.

Monitor service levels and vendor performance, taking corrective action as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.
To support and assistance for any adhoc tasks needed by the business/ team member.

Supervised the maintenance schedules for office equipment, fixtures, and facilities to ensure safe and reliable operation. Ensured that maintenance aligns with BT's business, health, and safety policies to meet SLAs.

Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements related to safety and inspections within the office environment.
Oversee weekly routine inspections of safety equipment and systems, maintaining accurate records and documentation in Team Folder.
Coordinate with regulatory authorities and external auditors as needed to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

Monitor supplier performance and adherence to service level agreements, addressing any issues or concerns that arise.

Monitor and manage the budget for facilities operations, including expenditures for maintenance, supplies, and services.

Ensure the updating of QBR, MMR, SEAA, NEA, and MEA meeting slides and reporting.
Ensure the data and information in the AMEA core team folder, including contracts, BGV, training, etc., is kept updated

Oversee minor projects such as office refurbishments, and relocations
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to support projects as needed.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation, contributing ideas and recommendations to support program objectives.

Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental, health, safety, and security regulations and standards.- BT HSE, BT Minimum standard
Implement policies and procedures to promote a safe and secure work environment, including fire drill, BCP and ERP response protocols.

A highly skilled professional


You should be a graduate in any discipline and have five to ten years of experience in facility management. Proven experience with continuous improvement initiatives and client reporting is also vital for this role. If you’re familiar with occupational safety requirements matched with strong computer literacy and the ability to manage activities using different systems, then you might be the best fit for this job.
