Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Test Analyst to join our Transaction Banking team. This role focuses on conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes and ensuring successful product rollouts. You will work closely with project managers, UAT professionals, and end-users to design and execute test strategies that meet system standards and end-user requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and product rollouts into production.
  • Collaborate with project teams to design test scripts, plans, and reports for application testing.
  • Conduct tests to ensure systems meet specified standards and end-user needs.
  • Develop test plans, test cases, and scripts in alignment with business requirements.
  • Identify, document, and recommend solutions for defects and conduct root cause analysis.
  • Perform retesting after fixes to confirm issue resolution.
  • Maintain and manage test data across different test environments.
  • Document and evaluate test results for future replication and process improvements.
  • Communicate and resolve testing issues using sound technical and communication skills.
  • Identify and suggest process improvements to optimize testing strategies.
Key Skills / Knowledge:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing.
  • Strong knowledge of transaction banking and cash management processes.
  • Prior experience in managing and executing UAT for BAU patches and enhancements.
  • Hands-on experience in the banking industry and project management.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and escalate issues that may affect testing progress.
  • Highly adaptable and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A self-starter with a customer-centric mindset and a “can-do” attitude.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with UAT, software testing, and knowledge of test management tools.
  • Familiarity with critical path analysis and understanding dependencies within projects.
