Job Description (JD)

  • Conducts initiatives related to the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and product rollout into production. Testing specialists who work with project managers, UAT professionals, and users to design and implement appropriate scripts/plans/reports for an application testing strategy/approach.
  • Conducts a variety of tests and analyses to ensure that systems meet or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements.
  • Works closely with key stakeholders to understand business and functional requirements to develop test plans, test cases, and scripts.
  • Identifies defects and recommends appropriate course of action; performs root cause analyses.
  • Retests after fixes are made to ensure problems are resolved.
  • Documents, evaluates and researches test results for future replication.
  • Identifies, recommends, and implements process improvements to enhance testing strategies.
  • Requires a basic understanding of how own area integrates within IT/vendor testing to achieve objectives and convey test results.
  • Resolves problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and guided by precedents.
  • Requires sound and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills to exchange complex information.
  • Maintain test data across different test environments.
  • Performs other duties and functions as assigned.

Key Skills / Knowledge and Behaviors (if applicable)

  • Candidate with at least 2 years of working experience in software quality assurance/software testing/Test Management.
  • Preferably having Transaction Banking and cash management knowledge
  • Preferably having hands-on experience in the banking industry and project management.
  • Experience in managing and executing UAT for BAU patches/enhancement/project.
  • Detail-oriented, highly analytical, willing to learn, and committed.
  • Able to highlight and escalate the issues that impact testing progress.
  • Able to understand interdependencies and effects on critical paths.
  • Self-starter, “can-do” attitude, a customer-centric mindset, highly adaptable, and can handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard.
