Position: Senior Sales Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. To develop key prospects into key accounts for the hotel.

2. To ensure increase in the leisure & corporate room sales, average room rates and to ensure consistent productivity.

3. Design, promote and sell room packages to the various target markets.

4. Design package of long-term guests.

5. Develop a loyal client base for room sales, banquet, and meetings

6. Plan and carry out sales and email blitz with the sales team for the various target markets.

7. To provide leadership and guidance to all sales personnel.

8. To supervise and motivate the sales team to ensure that targets and group goals are achieved.

9. Provide marketing intelligence feedback for the benefit of Sales and Marketing Dept.

10. Handles leisure accounts and to maintain an impressive rapport.

11. Ensure that room sales and average room rate are within budgeted projections. To ensure consistent productivity in sales.

12. Initiate long term packages to enhance long term guest.

13. Establish area of coverage by zoning for the sales team.

14. Formulate and implement marketing strategies to achieve sales targets.

15. Implement and follow up with sales team on weekly sales action plan.

16. Assist Assistant Director of Sales in the Sales strategy and set up and to train the sales team.

17. Assists Department Head to prepare marketing plans promotions of the hotel.

18. To know thoroughly the products, facilities and services offered by the hotel and to conduct hotel inspection for potential customers systematically to promote the hotel facilities.

19. To entertain supporting clients through luncheon, cocktails and dinners on occasions.

20. To perform lobby duty as and when requested by Director of Sales, including VIP and CIP guest welcome.

21. To take on last minute assignments given by the Director of Sales and to perform the assigned projects within deadline.

22. To establish and maintain good working relationship with staff within Sales & Marketing as well as staff in other departments.

23. To represent the Assistant Director of Sales in his/her absence.

24. Performs any other job-related matters instructed by the Management.
