Morgan Philips Group (MPG) has been engaged by a renowned Global Healthcare Manufacturer to search for either a Senior Finance Manager or a Financial Controller. This is your chance to be part of a groundbreaking team that's revolutionizing their operations and redefining industry standards.

You'll take on the role of either Senior Finance Manager or Financial Controller, reporting directly to the CFO in this exciting transformation. Nonetheless, you will:

  • Oversee the company's daily financial operations of the company, including maintenance of accounting records, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. A gatekeeper to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of financial operations on a day-to-day basis.
  • Supervise and review monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing activities for all accounts, ensuring timely submission of financial and statutory reports
  • Identifying opportunities to improve financial and operating efficiency.
  • Analyze results variances, trends, and financial forecasts.
  • Project and capex accounting.
  • Timely month-end and year-end closer, financial statement preparation, audit closures and management reporting.
  • Product & activity costing and Operational cost management.
  • Effective cash management and cash flow reporting & monitoring.
  • Develop annual budgets and financial plans
  • Review and rollout financial and operating plans (annual and strategic)
  • Regularly review financial plans and budgets, recommending benchmarks/KPIs and identifying cost reduction opportunities
  • Monitor company CAPEX (capital expenditures) and ROI (return on investment)
  • Ensure regulatory, secretarial & legal compliances for Malaysia operations.
  • Review and monitor internal controls.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully managing teams and driving results.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think analytically and provide valuable insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, with experience in ERP systems preferred.
