Job Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Execution:

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets in the air freight sector.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospective clients and market segments.
• Manage the sales pipeline, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a high conversion rate.

Client Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.

Market Analysis & Reporting:

• Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategies and identify opportunities.
• Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.

Collaboration & Coordination:

• Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and marketing, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Coordinate with the air freight operations team to understand service capabilities and address any operational challenges.
• Work with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns for air freight services.

Authority:

• Make decisions on any issues or daily tasks (including related documentation) related to air freight activities (including any outsourced activities).

Qualifications & Experiences needed

• At least Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Experience in air freight sales or a similar sales role within the logistics industry. Strong understanding of air freight logistics, including pricing, regulations, and market dynamics.
• Proficient in Mandarin and English
• Windows Office Applications (e.g. MS Word, MS Excel, etc.)
• Able to work independently
• Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and make informed decisions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

• Commission pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Klang: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Air Freight: 5 years (Preferred)
• Logistics: 5 years (Preferred)

Language:

• Mandarin (Preferred)
