Job Summary:

The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all construction activities on-site to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and adhering to quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervision of Construction Activities:
  • Monitor and supervise daily construction operations, ensuring that the project is completed according to the plan and timeline.
  • Assign tasks and provide guidance to site workers and subcontractors.
  • Coordination and Communication:
  • Coordinate with the project manager, contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth site operations.
  • Conduct regular site meetings to update progress and resolve issues.
  • Quality Control:
  • Ensure that all construction activities meet the project’s specifications and quality standards.
  • Inspect work done by laborers and subcontractors to ensure it meets the project’s guidelines and client expectations.
  • Health and Safety Compliance:
  • Enforce safety regulations and ensure workers comply with safety protocols on-site.
  • Conduct regular safety briefings and ensure the site is safe for all workers and visitors.
  • Problem-Solving:
  • Identify and resolve site issues promptly to avoid project delays.
  • Address any on-site challenges or potential risks proactively.
  • Resource Management:
  • Manage on-site resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, ensuring efficient usage and minimizing waste.
  • Monitor stock levels of materials and request additional supplies as needed.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain detailed records of daily site activities, progress, and any incidents.
  • Report project progress to the Project Manager and provide updates on any delays or challenges.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with local regulations, codes, and environmental guidelines.
  • Liaise with local authorities when required.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in site supervision or construction management.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with health and safety standards.

Skills Required:

  • Strong leadership and people management.

  • Attention to detail and high-level organizational skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and basic computer literacy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily based on-site with exposure to weather conditions and construction environments.

Job Types: Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Fixed shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

  • Performance bonus
