Facility Technician

Duties & Responsibilities

• Performs general preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment, and grounds. Working under close supervision assists in monitoring building system operations and performance. Responds to service calls and in-house repairs throughout the facility.
• Troubleshoots, responds to work orders, repairs systems, and equipment.
• Installs office fixtures and performs work in various maintenance trades including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
• Routine assignments include moving furniture, materials, and equipment.
• Conducts scheduled preventative maintenance and breaks down equipment for clean-up.
• Oversees emergency system backup.
• Ensures plumbing, sewer, water, electrical and mechanical systems are functional.
• Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.
• Maintains lighting systems throughout the facility, cleaning fixtures and replacing bulbs and lamps.
• Maintains grounds of facility or property performing such tasks as raking and sweeping.
• Performs welding, carpentry, furniture assembly, and locksmith tasks as needed.
• Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Mechatronic)
• Handling Machine for Maintenance and Servicing Purpose Knowledge of technical drawing, MS office, Lean manufacturing & quality tools.
• Familiar in manufacturing methods.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fresh graduates are welcome.
