Reporting to the Academic Director or Academic Coordinator, you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and assessing lessons as per the ELS curriculum, while maintaining meticulous student records and fulfilling various administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver ELS academic programs as assigned by the Academic Director or Academic Coordinator.
  • Develop lesson plans, activities, and assessments tailored to student needs.
  • Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback on their classroom performance.
  • Create and maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to coordinate instruction and maintain attendance records.
  • Uphold center policies and effectively communicate these to associate instructors.
  • Complete necessary administrative paperwork and maintain resource materials.
  • Participate in professional development workshops and meetings, fostering a culture of shared best practices.
  • Assist and mentor Associate English Language Instructors in their roles.
  • Exhibit flexibility and step in as a substitute when required, ensuring continuity of instruction.

Qualifications

  • Native English speaker from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, or South Africa.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, TESOL, or a related field, along with CELTA or TEFL/TESOL certification (minimum 120-hour TESOL).
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant ESL/EFL teaching experience, both face-to-face and online.
