The Deputy Digital & Strategy Director will primarily be responsible for:

Supporting the Digital & Strategy Director with the strategy, data, and technical elements of Grok’s Global Marketing Paid Media offering, as well as proactively leading Client relationships within the Solution Line across multiple Grok offices and mentoring more junior members of the team including Digital Marketing Officers and Senior Digital Marketing Officers.

In more detail:

  • To support best practice strategy & execution for paid digital marketing services across all global source markets, outside of China, as this market is managed by our separate specialist team. Markets include: Southeast Asia, South Asia, East Asia, Africa, Middle East, Europe & The Americas.
  • To ensure the Digital Marketing Solution Line is adhering to efficient and effective processes for campaign planning, activation, optimization, and dashboard performance reporting (integrating CRM data where possible) - across both core media channels and third parties.
  • To provide strategic collaboration and relationship management to a wide range of institutions in key university destinations to ensure best practice delivery, direction and success.
  • To develop relationships with core media channels and third parties to continually provide industry-leading opportunities for paid digital marketing clients.
  • To consolidate and share market-specific data insights & trends, regional learnings, thought leadership, and client case studies for knowledge sharing and promotional purposes.
  • To support the recruitment of new digital marketing experts and professionally develop/mentor in line with key performance indicators for the department.
  • To provide innovation and future direction (i.e., lead nurture) to the solution line to ensure it is competitive to prospects and performs ahead of its peer set.
  • To own the paid media budgets and reconciliations for all paid digital marketing clients.

The Most Suitable Background

  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably within international education.
  • Bachelor’s degree with good to strong academic performance.
  • Strong English fluency; proficient in business report writing; able to discuss strategy and analysis with English speakers.
  • Data-driven, with demonstrable experience in creating and executing full marketing plans and executional campaigns across both paid and organic media channels.
  • Relevant technical background including skills in paid media channels, social media, search engine marketing, video editing, design, etc.
  • Voluntary or other life experience that demonstrates creativity, hard work, persistence or drive to succeed.
  • Study or experience abroad is strongly preferred.
