  • Organize ground operations activities for timely and efficient collection, management and delivery of freight
  • Provides guidance for good working practices and safety for entire warehouse operation and staff
  • Recommends and implements process and procedure improvements for service delivery to the customer. Provides customized solutions for customers in the areas of warehousing, inventory control and analysis, transportation, and technical support
  • Responsible for the Key Performance indicators and ensures budget targets are met
  • Provide, coaching, training, and development of all warehouse staff.
  • Work with Regional and Country Operations and other related departments to design and plan fit-for-purpose logistics staffing structures.
  • Develop and distribute standard International and National Logistics staff job descriptions, associated training modules, working tools and reporting formats.
  • Maintain well-organized central storage, DC & hub
  • Supervise and provide technical and administrative to roving Logistics Coordinators;
  • Audit the effective implementation of country logistics processes and documentation regularly;
  • Provide specific guidance on improved warehouse management techniques, conduct regular documented warehouse inspections and improvement action plans;
  • Provide senior logistics staff with gap-filling solutions.
  • Coordinate roving staff deployment schedules with Regional and Country teams; plan regular audit visits prioritized based on risk management.
  • Develop and maintain standard Regional Logistics Coordinators tools and procedures; coach, measure deployment results and impact on country logistics deliverables.
  • Actively develop and disseminate best practices in the field of Supply Chain Management
  • Develop and coordinate the delivery of training modules to employees.
