Job Summary:
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for the proper handling, storage, and tracking of all goods and materials within a warehouse or storage facility. This role involves maintaining accurate records of stock levels, receiving and inspecting incoming goods, organizing and labelling inventory, and ensuring timely dispatch of items.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Record and maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring all stock is correctly labelled and stored.
• Organize and store items in designated areas to optimize space and accessibility.
• Perform regular stock counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Prepare and manage the packaging of orders for delivery.
• Monitor packaging of integrated goods (new packaging) and arrange deliveries.
• Ensure the storage facility is kept clean, organized, and complies with safety regulations.
• Coordinate with sales, procurement, and logistics departments to fulfil orders and resolve stock discrepancies.
• Handle damaged or faulty goods by following proper reporting and return procedures.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisors.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a warehouse, storekeeping, or inventory management role.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Proficient in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling stock.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically able to lift and move heavy items when required.
• Able to operate a forklift.
