About us

Samurai Yakiniku Sdn. Bhd. is locally incorporated company focusing on Japanese food cuisine and culture- mainly through the operation of Samurai Yakiniku restaurant and the distribution of Halal Wagyu meat in Malaysia. Samurai Yakiniku has branched out to three outlets in Malaysia, providing delicious Japanese yakiniku in Kota Bharu (Kelantan), Bangi (Selangor), Setapak (Kuala Lumpur), Shah Alam and more to come.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in culinary arts or hospitality management, or any related courses.
  • No prior experience required, but a basic understanding of food preparation is a plus.
  • Basic food preparation and cooking techniques.
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good knife skills (preferred but not required for some entry-level interns).
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Able to lift and carry heavy items (e.g., ingredients or kitchen equipment).
  • Ability to work in hot environments (kitchen settings).

Requirements:

  • Can work within normal working hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to work well in a team setting.
  • Punctual, reliable, and eager to learn.
  • Willingness to learn and develop culinary skills under supervision.
  • Basic communication skills to interact with supervisors and fellow staff.

Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 3-6 months

Pay: RM1,600.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Evening shift

Supplemental Pay:

  • Overtime pay
