We are established Pet Store at Klang Valley, currently we have 5 outlets named Only Pets and still growing. We’re retailing wide varieties of pet food, pet accessories, pet beauty products, pet clothing, pet healthcare products, small animal’s livestock and personalized pet services.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Retail Assistant to join our team at ONLY PETS. As a Retail Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a well-organized store environment, and promoting the well-being of our furry and feathered friends. Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement:Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
Assist customers in selecting pet products and provide expert advice on pet care.

Sales and Product Knowledge:Promote and upsell pet products to meet or exceed sales targets.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of our product offerings to guide customers effectively.

Inventory Management:Ensure proper stocking, labeling, and organization of pet supplies.
Monitor and report on inventory levels and product expiration dates.

Pet Care and Welfare:Prioritize the health and well-being of animals in the store.
Report any concerns regarding the welfare of animals to the appropriate personnel.

Store Maintenance:Keep the store clean, well-maintained, and visually appealing.
Assist in creating attractive product displays and promotional setups.

Cash Handling:Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately.
Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds according to store policies.

Customer Service Excellence:Address customer inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
Build strong customer relationships to encourage loyalty and repeat business.

Team Collaboration:Work effectively as part of a team and assist in training new employees.
Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
  • Passion for and knowledge of pets and pet care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Cash handling experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays, as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
