Location - Batu Pahat, Johor (Work in office)
Must Haves - 5 years leading HR and Finance Operations / Hands-on experience in full HR duties with experience in finance/bookeeping
Human Resources Management -
Recruitment & Onboarding:
· Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
· Manage the entire recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
· Ensure a smooth onboarding process to integrate new hires into the company culture.
Employee Engagement & Relations:
· Foster a positive workplace culture that enhances employee engagement and productivity.
· Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
· Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to boost morale and retention.
Performance Management:
· Oversee the performance management process, including setting objectives, performance appraisals, and feedback sessions.
· Support managers in identifying training and development needs for their teams.
Compliance & Best Practices:
· Ensure HR policies and practices comply with local labor laws and industry standards.
· Keep abreast of HR industry trends and best practices to ensure continuous improvement.
Financial Management -
Payroll Management:
· Manage and oversee the payroll process using SQL-based systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
· Address payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Bookkeeping & Financial Reporting:
· Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
· Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and monitor financial performance against budgetary goals.
· Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Audit & Compliance:
· Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
· Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal audits as required.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in a combined HR and finance role, preferably in a managerial position.
· Proficiency in HR practices, including recruitment, employee relations, and engagement.
· Experience with payroll systems, particularly SQL-based systems, and strong knowledge of payroll compliance.
· Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial reporting.
· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
