  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

1) High Voltage Engineer (Solar Background)

Job Summary :

Reporting to the Project Management (Utilities Scale), project execution the high voltage and medium voltage portions of a new U-scale Solar Power Plant.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Supervise site installation of electrical equipment in the following area; control building, 161kV Switchyard, transmission line and PMU area.
  • Work proactively to improve productivity without compromising safety or quality requirements.
  • Manage and report day-to-day operational aspects of the projects.
  • Create checklists for review or inspection of completed solar installation projects.
  • Work closely with all stakeholders maintaining a high level of communication.
  • Work closely with project teams regionally and locally.

Skills and Qualifications :

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in renewables sector required and project experience in High Voltage
  • Degree with honours in Electrical Engineering
  • Those with PW4/PW2 Wireman certificate would be an added advantage.
  • Able to converse in English and Malay
  • Knowledge of local licensing and standard design/construction practices.
  • Knowledge in PVSYST, Microsoft Project and AutoCAD.
  • Project management skills.
  • Be able to station on site to manage the workers and sub-contractors, coordinate with the main contractor and consultants.
  • Ability to work independently in an unstructured environment.
  • Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environment with changing circumstances, direction and strategy.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.

2) Site Safety Supervisor (Solar Background)

Job Summary :

Full-time Site Safety Supervisor mainly taking care of site safety, health and environment issue mainly for CGPP Teluk Intan construction.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Set the standard of safety and environment of project
  • Site daily monitoring and supervision.
  • Monitor and ensure all activities carry out by contractors are compliance to JKKP/CIDB requirements.
  • Compile and proper filing of all documents that required by JKKP/CIDB Site daily monitoring and supervision
  • Plan and manage the implementation of contract work in a safe manner, in accordance with company-wide and project-specific health, safety and environmental documentation.
  • Ensure all project related documents are maintained and kept current.
  • Monitor and identify risk proactively and determine suitable mitigation strategies.
  • Organize monthly Site Safety Committee meeting with contractors, to ensure site safety, health and environment issue was handled properly.
  • Work closely with project teams regionally and locally.

Skills & Qualifications :

  • Yellow Book Holder (Qualified Safety Supervisor)
  • Degree/Diploma
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience
  • Those with PW4/PW2 Wireman certificate would be an added advantage.
  • Strong communication ability and interpersonal skills
  • Skilled in cloud-based tools and Microsoft Office Suite
