Project description

Our client, a global leader in the food and snack industry, is seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Admin to support their RTEC (Ready-To-Eat-Cereal) Commercial team for a 6-month contract. The role involves assisting with marketing activities such as innovation projects, POSM adaptations, budget tracking, and in-store execution across Southeast Asia.

This is a hybrid role, requiring the talent to work three days a week from the client’s office in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. This position is critical for ensuring timely execution of marketing strategies and smooth collaboration with both internal and external teams.

What you will be doing

Marketing Support:

  • Assist with innovation projects: artwork checks, timeline tracking for trade samples, and fact sheet updates.
  • Manage POSM adaptation across different formats and markets.
  • Coordinate with local markets on trade execution and POSM materials.
  • Collaborate with digital agencies on social media content and website management.
  • Ensure SEA website requirements are met with the regional website team.

In-Store Execution:

  • Track trade deployment and gather in-store photos of marketing execution.
  • Summarize competitor activity findings and report them monthly to leadership.

Marketing Budget:

  • Assist in raising purchase orders and goods receipts.
  • Monitor budgets and provide monthly status reports on marketing and trade spend.

Your Background

  • Minimum of 2 years in a marketing support role, preferably with agency or client-side experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with budget tracking systems.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organization and timeline management skills.
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
  • Preferred: Experience in the FMCG sector and regional knowledge of Southeast Asia.
