Homologation and Product Planning Manager

Responsibilities

• Liaise with government departments (MITI, JPJ, etc.) on AP and VTA applications.
• Collaborate with the HQ team to manage the VTA process, including document submissions through government systems and coordinating JPJ car inspections in Malaysia and internationally.
• Collect local regulations and policy documents to perform strategic analyses for new model introductions.
• Oversee all homologation activities, including vehicle VTA, wallbox Sirim homologation, and other business-related aspects.
• Conduct product planning, market analysis, competitor assessments, and develop vehicle lineup strategies.

Requirement

• sBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
• .Minimum of 5 years of experience in homologation processes, with a focus on automotive regulations and compliance
• .Strong understanding of AP and VTA applications and associated government procedures
• .Experience in coordinating inspections and collaborating with government departments (e.g., MITI, JPJ)
• .Strong analytical skills for conducting market and competitor analyses
• .Strong written, communication and presentation skills with fluency in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia
